My name is Lyndel and along with my husband Jimmy, we currently share our home with 4 Bernese and a Siberian Husky. We live on the Central Coast in New South Wales. We live close to the beach where our dogs go for daily walks and swims.
I have always admired the Bernese Mountain Dogs ever since I saw my first one when I was 13 years old, out the school bus window. I always said to myself that I will own one of those dogs one day. Fast forward many years later and I welcomed my first Bernese into my family in 2008. I had lost my childhood Golden Retriever several years earlier and my Husky was missing the company of another dog, so I felt the time was right to finally welcome a Bernese into my home. After alot of research, I met Nicole Lennon from Zanzebern Bernese and not long after, I welcomed Zanzebern Blimey Charlie "Mason" into our home.
Mason was such an amazing introduction to the breed that 6 months later, we welcomed our foundation girl Australian Champion Zanzebern Femkyra "Kyra" into our family. Nicole really wanted to keep Kyra herself, but allowed her to become part of our family. Kyra produced one amazing litter to Australian Champion Berntiers Mission Complete (Imp Swe) "Nasa" in which we kept one puppy Braxton.
We are forever indebted to Nicole for allowing these beautiful dogs to become part of our family.
The main aim of our kennel is to produce mentally and physically sound Bernese who will be healthy and loveable companions. In addition to this main aim we are striving to breed Bernese who can compete successfully at an All Breeds Championship show level.
We are very grateful to the owners of our progeny who choose to x-ray and evaluate their dogs for hip and elbow dysplasia. Along with the dogs we screen ourselves we can already boast a very good record for the results of our progeny to date.
Realising that our contribution to this magnificent breed can only be small, we at Kyseair are continuing to work together with our friends at home and abroad to further enhance this wonderful breed.
